A high count mostly means a carrier writes a lot of policies here. It is a measure of volume, not conduct. What the records do support is comparison: who appears, how often, before which court, and how their cases end relative to each other.

How a carrier family is decidedBy an exact list of party names, reviewed by hand and stored with the data — the site looks up the literal string the court filed and nothing else. No substring, prefix or fuzzy matching. That matters: an earlier pattern-based attempt matched "aig" inside Craig and produced 404 imaginary AIG cases, and separately swept in a litigant whose middle name was Aig. Anything not on the list is reported as unassigned at the bottom of this page rather than folded into a family.

Read this before the numbers belowA dismissal is not recorded here as a win for anyone. 65% of decided cases end in one, and in a suit against a carrier a dismissal is very often a settlement the parties agreed to. The docket does not say which. Any site that turns that into a "carrier win rate" is inventing a result the record does not contain.
Removal to federal court is comparable. It is the defendant's own election under diversity jurisdiction — entirely the carrier's choice — and it ranges from 0% to 59% between carriers here.
