A reader noticed that Ryan Hutson, a commercial real-estate broker and the husband of Judge Echo Hutson, appears in listing records on both sides of New Caney ISD's purchase of a 13-acre tract on Cumberland Boulevard in Porter, closed in February 2026, and that a property database describes the land as having been held by a receiver. They note that Hutson is also a reserve deputy for Constable Precinct 3, has served on a children's-advocacy board, gives to local officials, and has served as a court appointee in real-estate matters. They ask who the receiver was, what the district paid, who was paid, and whether the county has ever paid him. They say plainly they have not established that Hutson was the receiver. Each point was checked against the records on this site.

A reader sent a long file built from hospital-district board books, fire-district agendas, appellate opinions, campaign-finance reports and county minutes. It asks how the Montgomery County Hospital District's East County radio tower went from a Porter site with FAA approval in 2022, to a fire-district station in 2025, to a $750,000 land line in the district's budget; who the district's new general counsel is and what his record in the county's courts shows; and whether six county vendors and relatives of officials — a jail commissary operator, a delinquent-tax law firm, an engineering contractor, a feed store, a commissioner's wife, a road contractor — appear in the county's own votes and campaign reports. Each question was checked against the records on this site.
