Figures marked derived are computed from the records by the rule on the Method page and are not findings. Corrections.
Texas Public Information Act requests, Election Code requests and preservation letters. This board lists what has not been asked for yet as well as what has — an archive should say what it is missing and who holds it, not only what it managed to get.
Anyone can send these. Every outstanding request below has a letter you can download, fill in and post — the Act does not require you to give a reason or say who you are working for. New to this? County and probate judicial candidates file with the COUNTY, not the Texas Ethics Commission, so no TEC pull of any width reaches them. These six approve the largest volumes of paid appointments in the county (Laird 4,974 appointments / $731,390; Tucker 1,550 / $705,697; Riley 955 / $401,441; Valdez 317 / $157,863) and have no campaign-finance file anywhere in this archive.

Money tendered into a county court's registry is deposited with the county depository under Local Gov't Code ch. 117 and earns interest, and the statute splits that interest: 10% to the county general fund for administrative expenses, 90% back to the account. None of those figures appear in anything pulled so far — not the balances, not the interest, not the county's share, and not how the depository holding the money was selected. Asks for all four, plus registry funds held over three years and anything escheated as unclaimed property.

The county declined. Sec. 18.066 makes the Secretary of State's duty mandatory — furnish to any person on request within 15 days — so the state route does not depend on county cooperation. Needs a notarised affidavit of non-commercial use and a $75 deposit. Returns VUID, former last name, DOB, precinct and full address: the identity key and discriminator this project has been working without. Restricted handling: warehouse/restricted only, never the public mart.

Amy Tucker and Jack Riley share 24 of the roughly 30 attorneys either one appoints — 80% overlap across $1,062,968 in approved fees. A formal rotation list would explain it entirely. No written procedure has been produced.

All four dockets are in the 457th and all four show an 'Order of Assignment' shortly after filing or transfer. The Odyssey index records every disposition under Santini as the court's judicial officer, so it cannot show whether he recused and who was assigned. Whether the County Judge — who signs the 457th's budget — litigated in front of Santini, or in front of a visiting judge Santini's court arranged, is the fact the recusal record needs.

Gov't Code ch.36 reporting started 2016-09-01 and the county publishes ONLY the current month online ('Combined fee reports for website.pdf' = June 2026). The 'Click here for archives' link on the District Clerk page points at the live video streaming page. The parser is built and validated (parse_oca_pdf.py, exact dollar agreement with the county's own xlsx on 3 judges). This is the only route to the pre-FY2025 record, which includes CCL#3 filed under 'Atkinson, Amy' — Judge Tucker's name until ~2018.

Two things, both now live. (1) On 2025-03-25 the court acknowledged the IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION of Project 21-37 Towing Services with Allpoints Towing, LLC and awarded 21-37 to Milstead Automotive as 'the only remaining bidder'. Allpoints had exercised the third of three renewal options four months earlier (2024-11-19), and Milstead's president gave Commissioner Gray $2,500 twenty-five days before the cancellation. Why the contract was cancelled, who initiated it, and what 'only remaining bidder' means four years into a solicitation are all unanswered. (2) The Towing Advisory Board was created 2021-04-13, seated 2021-04-27 with nine towing-company owners and officers, and disbanded 2023-06-13; what it recommended in between is not in the minutes. Not history: 25-24 was renewed 2026-05-07, the first of three renewal options.

The bulk file carries exactly one contribution row to a Montgomery judge for all of 2022, against 123 in 2021 and 168 in 2023. Either the judges did not raise, or the bulk release is missing the reports. The filer list is not the cause; that was tested and ruled out.
